Jonah 1:7-10
The sailors cast lots, and the short stick fell on Jonah. Terrified, they grilled Jonah, “Who ARE you? Where are you FROM? WHAT are you DOING?” And he replied, ““I am a Hebrew and I worship the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.” That made the sailors even more terrified. “WHAT in the WORLD have you DONE?” Notice that the answer isn’t explicit in this passage, though they already knew, because he had already told them previously.
